Chandra has discovered a wealth of new phenomena in the X-ray sky. Here I note some of the highlights from Chandra and see how they will be quantitatively and qualitatively surpassed by an X-ray telescope with a factor 5-10 time better angular resolution and an order of magnitude or more increase in effective area.
