» New Developments for Electroformed Nickel Optics

Electroformed-nickel replicated (ENR) optics have found widespread use in x-ray astronomy.The limitation to their performance is typically due to axial figure errors imparted by the fabrication process, or introduced during mounting. We present new developments aimed at significantly improving the quality of ENR optics.
